- Though Tifanie Christun was Dorie's normal English-language voice actress, Sandy Fox voiced Dorie Dutton when "The Secret of the Ruins" was edited following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
- In the original Japanese-language Car Robots, the Dorie character didn't have a name. She was simply called "Announcer (Reporter)", per her job as a TV announcer who also acted as a reporter.
