Scott McNeil

Scott McNeil (September 15, 1962- ) is a Canadian/Australian voice actor. Some of his most notable roles include Piccolo from the original English dub of Dragonball Z, Bonesteel from Ninja Turtles: the Next Mutation, Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing, Wolverine from X-Men Evolution, Ace the Bat-Hound from Krypto the Superdog, Proto Man and Dr. Wily in Mega Man, and oh so many more. He is an extremely prolific performer, an incredibly popular guest at Transformers and anime conventions, and is probably insane.

Scratch the "probably".

(McNeil didn't continue Jetfire into Cybertron. The producers reportedly wanted Jetfire to have a more 'Australian' voice instead of his usual, hence a new actor. Ironically, Scott McNeil was, in fact, born in Brisbane, Australia! Clearly, he was insufficiently Australian.)

Trivia

Megatron watches in horror as Scott plays with his arms.

• For the interview in Madman Entertainment's Beast Wars DVDs, Scott came dressed in a foam Megatron costume.

• In the 2003 animated version of Ben Hur, he was the voice of Jesus. When Scott gets arrested, Robert Foxworth denies him three times.
• His first live action role was as Bonesteel in TMNT: The Next Mutation. Bonesteel was a big game hunter with a screw loose. Not that big of a stretch really.
• Seriously, he's clinically insane.
