- Megatron X is a character from the Transformers Beast Wars: Transmetals portion of the Beast Era continuity family.
Who or what is Megatron X? Nobody knows. All that's known about him is that he possesses the likeness of Megatron's Transmetal body, except with dragon wings and entirely a silver color.

If any Maximal or Predacon, including Megatron, reaches the end of their journey, Megatron X is there to challenge them. Once Megatron X is defeated, the challenger can finally move on with their plans, friendly or sinister. Transformers Beast Wars: Transmetals

- Regardless of what difficulty the game is set to up until the player's encounter with Megatron X, the difficulty level when battling with Megatron X is automatically set to "Very Hard".
