- The Cybertrons are a faction in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Cybertron was a catch-all name made in an attempt to unify the disparate Transformers factions into one. The Destrons were formed as a reaction against this.[1]
It evidently failed, as the distinct Maximal and Predacon factions exist at a later time.
