Autosoldier

Autosoldiers are Autobot-aligned robots from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Autosoldiers are spark-less human-made Binaltech shells, presumably programmed with artificial intelligence for use in location defense and other special operations. They can also be used as spare bodies to contain a Transformer's spark.

Fiction

Binaltech

Several Autosoldiers were stationed in Autobot City during the Timaeus Project experiment. One was intended for use as a new body to house the disembodied spark of the Protector.

Unfortunately, Shockwave interfered before the transfer could take place, using an unknown link technology to override and remotely control the Autosoldiers. Under the Decepticon's control, the robots attacked the labs.

The Autobot Arcee, who was taking part in the Timaeus experiment nearby, destroyed several Autosoldiers that were endangering the project's human researchers, but was unable to prevent the Protector's spark from being stolen from the nearby Hangar #5.

Trivia

• Autosoldiers have so far only appeared in the text story printed on the box for the Binaltech Arcee toy.
• It is unknown whether Autosoldiers have any connection to Autoroopers.
