When no one else can search the dark depths of the ocean, call in Seaspray. Fascinated by Earth's oceans, Seaspray is known to report every detail of them whenever possible, much to the annoyance of his fellow Autobots, who often cut him off. Toys
Transformers (2007)
- Storm Surge (Target exclusive Scout Class, 2008)
- Accessories: Pistol, Cybertron Decepticon Cyber Planet Key
- A redeco of Cybertron Shortround, Storm Surge transforms into a hovercraft. Inserting a Cyber Planet Key into his key jack swings a pair of (non-firing) torpedo racks up into firing position. This gimmick is available in both vehicle and robot modes. There is also a small, non-firing gun that can be held in either of his claws or can be mounted on the top of his hovercraft mode.
- During transformation, snapping the torso into place forces the head up, making it easier to twist into place. He also has wheels on the underside of his vehicle mode, allowing him to be rolled on smooth surfaces.
- Storm Surge was part of the AllSpark Power series of Target-exclusive Scout Class toys.
- This toy was repurposed as "Shattered Glass" Seaspray.
- In 2009, this toy was re-released in the Walmart Black Friday exclusive Universe "War of the Waves" two-pack as Storm Surge.
