This article is about the characters called Kremzeeks. For the episode in which they are introduced, see Kremzeek!.
Kremzeek is a walking collection of lightsaber eound effects mischievous electrical life-form in many continuity families.
Let's ignore the obvious reaction here and instead pose this: Why does he cast shadows?

Kremzeek is a sneaky bastard.

Fiction

Generation 1 cartoon continuity

Generation 1 cartoon

Voice actor: Wally Burr (English),Ken Shiroyama (Japanese)
Louie the Lightning Bug's nastier cousin.

Kremzeek was accidentally created by Megatron and Starscream whilst experimenting in the lab of the Decepticons' crashed starship-base.

Kremzeeks come in various flavors.

Kremzeek immediately began making the electrical equipment aboard the ship malfunction, giving Megatron the idea to use him as a weapon against the Autobots. Kremzeek succeeded in damaging most of the Autobots (leaving only Inferno, Optimus Prime, Omega Supreme, Blaster and Bumblebee functional) before entering Teletraan I and traveling to Japan. The remaining Autobots followed in Omega Supreme, after being made invulnerable to Kremzeek's effects by Sparkplug's (patent pending) Magical Insulating Spray. Kremzeek was on the rampage in Japan when Blaster managed to capture the creature in his chest compartment. Deciding to "fry him with my own juice," Blaster soon discovered that this wasn't a capital idea. Soon there were multitudes of the buggers.

Optimus finally came up with a plan (with the help of some dorkwad) and trapped all of the Kremzeeks inside a radio tower, but they merged into a giant monster Kremzeek better suited for menacing Tokyo. Optimus ordered the radio tower transmitter to be activated, sending the creature into Megatron's Weapon of the Week (tm), consuming all its energy whilst the Decepticons escaped. The energy dispersed, and Kremzeek was destroyed. Poor widdle Kremzeek.

After its demise, Bumblebee reflected that he kinda missed the little creep (famous last words). Suddenly, a solitary Kremzeek emerged from Blaster, and the hilarious pursuit antics restarted. Kremzeek!

Kiss Players

By 2006, the Earth Defense Command had managed to weaponize the technology behind Kremzeek somehow, and created "Kremzeek bullets" that their Autoroopers' guns fired.

When the hapless EDC Kiss Player Atari Hitotonari wound up swallowing a Legion, her Autorooper shrunk down to enter her body and destroy the beast, but when it tried shooting its Kremzeek bullets inside her, she violently protested. The Autorooper didn't listen, but it depleted its ammo reserves before doing Atari any damage. Atari's Close Call?!

Kayu Michikusa's Autorooper was seen firing a Kremzeek bullet at Marissa Faireborn, who was partially paralyzed by the little creature. Kiss Players #2

Kremzeek was not shown doing much of anything within the actual Kiss Players fiction, but packaging illustrations depicted him getting up to more mischief, such as getting under Atari's skirt and blowing bubbles into Shaoshao's drink.

Dreamwave Generation 1 comics continuity

"Tastes great!" "Less filling!"

After a long day at work, Ironhide and Prowl enjoyed sneaking off to the nature preserve and sippin' on cans of delicious, oily Kremzeek-brand refresher.

Ironhide carelessly discarded one of his cans, allowing it to dribble into the preserve's unsullied waters. Beachcomber probably shed a tear, just off-panel. Skyfire

Push-Button was later seen serving these Kremzeek beverages and Energon goodies in the Autobase war room, just before Prowl briefed the assembled Autobots on threat Sunstorm posed to Earth. Original Sin

The floors of Megatron's home on Cybertron featured Kremzeek-shaped images as well. Kremzeek must be some sort of intergalactic celebrity in this continuity. The Reign of Starscream issue 3 Later, Lord Starscream was holding a can of Kremzeek as Dreadwing reported that he had found another test subject. Even tyrants with noble ambitions need that extra boost. The Reign of Starscream issue 4.
