- It is fairly obvious that Nicholas is referring to that dreaded, irradiated monster, Godzilla, who had his own Marvel Comics series in which he was hunted down by Dum Dum. This being a Transformers universe, of course, he could have been referring to Hojoni...
- During Earthforce, Irwin Spoon mentions Godzilla in reference to Superion's destructive behaviour being like a Japanese monster movie. Inside Story! It could be theorised that in-universe, the Japanese made a movie about that big green, fire-snortin' lizard's real-life monster rampages - after all the Marvel continuity contains both superheroes and superhero comics - but drawing firm relationships between the Marvelverse, the main US continuity and the Earthforce continuity is problematic at best.
