The name or term "Rad" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Rad (disambiguation).
The Rad Zone is a region of Cybertron in the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Cybertronians generally avoid this region for reasons unstated. One might hazard a guess that it is a highly radiated and therefore unhospitable area of the planet, possibly the result of some catastrophic incident during the Great War (as with the Acid Wastes). It was here that Grimlock stored a trio of stolen Decepticon starships, including the Graviton.
