:::And one vote against the whole idea (with a side vote against holding votes for this stuff), because it is not a "series" in the sense the rest of the things listed here are. War Within's supposed "toyline" status is actually due to sublines of other series. And I don't think the comics alone qualify. --KilMichaelMcC 00:08, 8 March 2010 (EST) | :::And one vote against the whole idea (with a side vote against holding votes for this stuff), because it is not a "series" in the sense the rest of the things listed here are. ::::Well, most of what's on this page are more rather "franchises" or mere "toylines" than they are actual "series" (I can't recall who it was that made this page, I just contributed a good bulk of it). And because this page exists, I feel the urge to add it in. Not to mention that, as Starfield mentioned above, the Universe (2008) line labeled the Springer vs. Ratbat 2-pack as part of the "War Within Series". --Sabrblade 13:41, 8 March 2010 (EST) | |||
Revision as of 18:41, 8 March 2010
I have a problem. I want to add in the War Within franchise to this list, but I do not know where to place it. While the comics of this series began in 2002, the "toyline" didn't begin until 2006. Which should I use to find its position in this table: fiction or toyline? --Sabrblade 21:05, 1 January 2010 (EST)
- War Within is a series? I guess it sort of is. I don't think it was originally a series of its own at the time the comic was made, but the Universe "War Within Series" seems to retroactively make it a series. I would say go with they toyline date. - Starfield 21:18, 1 January 2010 (EST)
- I'd go with 2002. ...Which is weird because I'm more of a toy guy.Khajidha 21:24, 1 January 2010 (EST)
- I'd go with the toyline, as we have series on here that are toyline-only. On the whole, though, I don't think it matters too much... I think the ordering is more general than precise regards what goes where. --Jeysie 17:07, 2 February 2010 (EST)
Two toyline, one fiction. Any last votes? --Sabrblade 19:25, 7 March 2010 (EST)
- What are we voting on? Whether War Within should be added to this page? Because I vote that it shouldn't be. --KilMichaelMcC 19:29, 7 March 2010 (EST)
