Ultra Magnus is an evil Autobot from the "Shattered Glass" continuity family.

Ultra Magnus is an evil and treacherous Autobot. Like many other Autobots, he has plans to take over the faction, though his current forced exile on Paradron might make further attempts difficult. Cyclonus hates him with a passion, for reasons unknown, even joining the Decepticons just to oppose him.

At one point, Ultra Magnus led an attempted coup against Optimus Prime, with Hound and Blurr as his only known supporters, though Hound was reportedly a link between Magnus and Alpha Trion. While trapped with Sideswipe in the maze leading to the Omega Terminus chamber, Blurr referred to Cliffjumper as a "traitorous lunatic". Sideswipe countered by saying that Blurr was one to talk, and asked how Ultra Magnus was doing. Blurr said Magnus was doing "better than Drench", at least. Dungeons & Dinobots

Notes

• So far Ultra Magnus has only been mentioned by other characters.
• In "Eye in the Sky", Rodimus mentioned a battle for leadership between Optimus and his brother that had Prime coming out on top (He cheated of course). Despite previous instances, there is no canonical evidence yet that the brother was Magnus.
• Will Ultra Magnus deal with it now?
