Under the command of Sevax, the Trawler Project was running smoothly at first: the Quintesson fleet spread out amongst the galaxy and their agents beamed back information about metal planets suitable for colonisation. This information was collected at a communications satellite that encoded it onto a computer disc inside a message canister and fired it towards Quintesson. Unfortunately the canister flew off course and landed on the planet Junkion, where it fell into the hands of Wreck-Gar. Sevax captured Wreck-Gar and had him tortured, but he refused to give up the canister's location and with time running short Lord Kledji ordered that the Trawler Project be shelved in favour of their back-up plan - the conquest of Cybertron!
