Springer gave Impactor a communicube from Xaaron after he and the other Autobot Triple Changers beat him up. Through the communicube, Xaaron explained to Impactor that it had been for his own good, because now they knew he'd make a proper replacement for Ultra Magnus in Operation: Volcano.
