- Umbra is a Decepticon from the Dreamwave portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Umbra is a Decepticon assassin. He is fanatically devoted to the Decepticon cause, and is fully willing to die to further their agenda. He transforms into a pistol small enough to be held by his fellow Decepticons.
Umbra is never referred to by name in the comic itself. His name was given by author Simon Furman in later interviews.[1]

Dreamwave Generation 1 Comics
