Toys

Revenge of the Fallen

  • War For The Skies (Multi-pack, 2009)
This four-pack of Legends Class toys was a Kmart exclusive, containing four redecos of existing toys, two of which represent entirely new characters.
Autobot Blades is a redeco of Legends class Springer. He turns into a white and red V-22 Osprey. His twin engines do not pivot upward like a real Osprey, but the propellers themselves can be rotated to approximate VTOL. Blades has one degree of freedom each at the wrist, elbow, shoulder, and ankle, but his hips are ball-jointed. In a surprising bit of attention to detail, the port and starboard rotors have opposite "handedness", just like a real aircraft.
Jetfire is a grey and black redeco - essentially inverting the colors of the regular toy, give or take a few paint operations.
Spinister is a redeco of Legends class Blackout. His helicopter mode is not a particularly faithful recreation of a Sikorsky MH-53 Pave Low heavy-lift helicopter. (The placement of the fuel tanks, in particular, makes him look more like a CH-53 Sea Stallion.)
Thundercracker is a redeco of Legends class Starscream, colored very similarly to his Voyager class toy from 2007.
