- An Ion Displacer is a weapon from the War for Cybertron portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
One of the more powerful weapons on Cybertron, the Ion Displacer is usually found attached to a turret base and behaves like a heavy machine gun. Cybertronians with a streak of Rambo in them can rip them from their restraints and carry them around.

Ion Displacers were used during the Great War. They could also be found in the hands of Heavy Soldiers. Transformers: War for Cybertron
Notes
- Once detached from their base, their ammo becomes limited. They also restrict movement and will be dropped upon transformation.
