The Master Blade is a weapon used by Grand Maximus. It looks just like the Master Sword, which is used by his elder brother, Fortress Maximus

Launching into action to rescue Shūta and Cab from the clutches of the Decepticons, Grand Maximus and Ginrai joined their powers in an unusual way: Ginrai rode astride Grand's starship mode, wielding Grand's Master Blade, which he used to take down Overlord with one almighty slash. - The Master Blade is a redeco of Fortress Maximus's Master Sword. It was available only with the Grand Maximus toy, and both forms of the Master Blade are included—the smaller one, which can be wielded by Grand (either the robot or the Pretender shell), and the bigger one fitting in the hand of Grand Maximus.
- This mold was also redecoed to make the Matrix Blade.
Notes
- According to Grand Maximus's instructions, it is actually only the small sword, wielded by Grand, which is named the Master Blade; the huge sword held by Grand Maximus is identified as the Grand Sword. In the blade's single fictional appearance, though, the huge sword was identified as the Master Blade, and so this article goes off that name.
