The Energon Z Beam is a weapon used by Trypticon during his tenure serving as one Violen Jiger's Nine Great Demon Generals. When engaged, the weapon unleashes a burst of red energy from the mechanical sauropod's mouth. It is presumably composed of pure Energon Z.

The weapon proved extremely powerful, and nearly killed Sonic Bomber when Trypticon used it on him. However, when he was preparing to fire again, Dai Atlas unleashed the Zodiac energy, which allowed him to kill Trypticon before before he could attack again.
