—Blurb from the front cover of Beast Wars Pt.4: Sticker Fun | ||
Beast Wars Pt.4: Sticker Fun is a coloring book. On each line art illustration throughout the book, there are various geometrical shapes lined out in dotted line marking off an area where a portion of the image is missing, replacing said section of the image with a number. In the middle of the book is a centerfold with various color stickers, each corresponding to one of these shapes throughout the book and numbered accordingly. Each illustration throughout the book is either a line art rendition of the packaging art of a character from the first wave of the Beast Wars toyline, sometimes accompanied by a rendition of the character'S beast mode based on their television model. Each character is also identitfied by their names being printed next to them in large bold letters. The only exception is the image on page 8 (see bellow).. It is part of a series of at least five activity books, containing no storyline or narrative, other than a short informative blurb on the cover (quoted above).
Contents
- Wolfang
- Cheetor
- Two-page spread of Megatron. A full-body picture of his T-Rex mode in profile is partially superimposed over top the reptilian eye seen on Beast Wars packaging. Next to it is Megatron's robot mode.
- Armordillo
- Waspinator
- Optimus Primal in his gorilla body.
- Stickers two-page spread.
- A rendition of Optimus Primal's beast mode based on his tv show animation model, cropped at the bust. Behind him is a simple background of a flat terrain with the flying mountain hovering overhead. This is the only page where the character's name does not appear.
- Two-page spread of Polar Claw and Rattrap.
- Insecticon
- Scorponok
- Two-page spread of Tarantulas, his beast mode seen in profile on the left and his robot mode on the right of the spread.
- Rhinox, his beast mode seen in three-quarter profile at the top-left corner of the page, while his robot mode is depicted at the bottom-right corner of the page.
Errors
- Front cover: they couldn't even spell "Disk" consistently...
Items of Note
- The reptilian eyeball decorating the Beast Wars packaging at the time appears twice throughout the book: first on the interior title page, accompanied by a rendition of Megatron's robot mode, and again on Megatron's own two-page spread.
