On Trypticon Station Starscream trusted the pair of Bitstream and Hotlink enough to leave Dark Energon to them while he delt with more important things. Perhaps because of their status as Seekers they survived when Megatron purged the station's crew. Later, he and Hotlink were the tech force on Starscream's mission to activate the Geosynchronous Energon Bridge Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron
