- Beachcomber was originally intended to debut in a scene with Shockwave during "TransWarped". The scene was recorded, with Beachcomber being voiced by Tom Kenny, who would provide a surfer type of voice. It was cut from the show for reasons unknown, other than being cut for time.
- Derrick J. Wyatt doesn't mourn the loss of said scene, having expressed his lack of fondness for Beachcomber on several occasions. Jim Sorenson also says he's not alone in this hatred.[1] Poor hippie.
