Daytonus is an Autobot from the Robots in Disguise continuity family.
I'm not Crasher!

Daytonus is one of many Autobots who guard planet Earth from the ambitions of Megatron. It's possible he is a reserve member of the Spy Changers.

Toys

Robots in Disguise

  • Daytonus & Side Burn (Basic, 2001)
    • Acccessories: Rifle
Daytonus transforms into a Le Mans-style race car. His wheels use a "through-axle" style of construction, which lets him zip along very quickly on smooth surfaces, and his toy is scaled to be used on Hot Wheels and Matchbox style race tracks. He was only available in a two-pack with Side Burn.
This mold was later redecoed to make Universe Wheeljack.

Notes

He's like Four-Legged Man, but with wheels!
  • Daytonus was the first official release of a mold originally intended to be released as part of the Generation 2 Go-Bots sub-line. Presently, the original identity of the mold is unknown.
  • Though the toy shares its origins with and is packed like the Hasbro releases of the Spy Changerss, he has never been officially labeled as a member of that team.
