Transformers: Sector 7 is a 5-issue comic-book mini-series published by IDW Publishing in 2010,[1] telling the story of secretive Sector Seven. It has been billed as the first prequel to Transformers: Dark of the Moon, but by all appearances, it doesn't really have anything to do with it.

Overview
At last—the secret history of the Transformers is finally revealed, through the multigenerational saga of the clandestine spy group code-named SECTOR 7. Events in this series tie directly into all of the massive hit Transformers movies, but trust us when we say—there has never been a movie-tie in comic like this before!
Creative team
Transformers: Sector 7 will be written by John Barber, with art by Joe Suitor and covers by live-action movie concept artist Josh Nizzi and Brian Rood.
