Sigil was a representative of the Guilds of Cybertron to the High Council in the last days before the war. He was even more elderly and run-down than his long-time friend Halogen, though they were rumored to have emerged from the Well of All Sparks on the same day. Sigil supports the status quo and Halogen in all things.

Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron
When the High Council called a meeting to address building civil unrest and to hear the testimony of Megatron and Orion Pax, Sigil spoke in favor of the Guild's status quo and actually managed to arouse the anger of young Orion. Exodus: The Official History of the War for Cybertron
