- The Destructicons are apparently a Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family.
It's not clear exactly what makes a Destructicon a Destructicon. At the very least, the group consists of Megatron, Blitzwing, Bombshell, Long Haul and Ravage.

When Megatron and the above-mentioned Decepticons tried to capture a human tanker truck, he referred to himself and his troops as "Destructicons".[1]. Whether this was a name for that particular assembly of troops, an error on Megatron's part, or evidence that this particular event occurred in an alternate universe is unclear. Decepticon Hijack
