- Crothers Auto-Body is a garage from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Crothers Auto-Body is a garage in San Desto. It made for a convenient garbage disposal area for the Insecticons hiding under the city, who dumped the less yummy parts of their meals there.
Fiction
Dreamwave Generation 1 comics
As Jazz and Marissa Faireborn were besieged by legions of Cybertronian insect-shaped drones, Jazz came to the conclusion they had to retreat if they wished to survive. He did so by manoeuvring them into the Crothers Auto-Body garage, where Marissa hurriedly closed the doors to keep their attackers outside. The relief was only short-lived, as when the two turned around to observe their surroundings, they found it littered with the unedible remains of humans and cattle. The discovery forced the two to reveal bits of information they had been withholding from each other on account of possibly not being relevant. Marissa told Jazz about reports on missing people and livestock as well as scant sightings of creatures EDC had dubbed "Insecticons", while Jazz told of a trio of Decepticons defeated by the Dinobots and presumed dead several million years ago. More words weren't wasted on the subject as the drones began to break through the door. Jazz detected a fake wall that hid the tunnel connecting the garage to the Insecticons' lair, and the two headed down to at least escape the drones outside. Extermination
Notes
- The garage is named in reference to Scatman Crothers, who was Jazz's voice actor in the cartoon series.
