Transformers Annuals are hardback books released in the United Kingdom, typically during in the run-up to Christmas the year before the date on the cover. They used to be dominated by comics and text stories, but 21st century annuals are typically made up of a large number of puzzle pages and other miscellany. While some annuals, notably those concerning Rupert Bear, are so rare as to fetch thousands of pounds, Transformers Annuals have so far failed to attain that sort of value.
The earliest Transformers Annuals were released by Marvel Comics, and the stories within are regarded as part of the Marvel UK comic canon.
