- The Bombasticons are a video game faction from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The evil Bombasticons of Hyper-Fax basically exist to get murdered by Optimus Prime and his Mechabots. Good thing video game characters aren't real.

Ethan Zachary created the world of Hyper-Fax, Mechabots, and Bombasticons for his digital copy of Optimus Prime's mind, intending to teach Prime of his previous life as commander of the Autobots and as an autonomous living being.
