Ladybird Books continuity
The Decepticons constructed Xenon and its sister stations, Argon and Krypton, in Earth orbit without the Autobots spotting them, and used a refraction shield to render the three stations completely invisible. Unfortunately the Autobots detected the radio transmissions from Argon, and manufactured a fake signal from Soundwave, which they sent to all three stations.
