Impactor Major was the Autobot bonded to Zeta Supreme, an Omega Sentinel, who was also home to the commando team, the Wreckers. Under Impactor's guidance, the Wreckers were able to operate under the radar within Decepticon territory without any additional Autobot support for several hundred thousand stellar cycles.

After a long series of embarrassments to the Decepticons, Megatron created the Decepticon Heavy Brigade specifically to counter Impactor and his Wreckers.
