- Writer John Barber said that the explanation of why Shockwave doesn't resemble his movie design was going to be given in this issue.[1] which oddly doesn't happen, but Shockwave is indeed badly damaged by Optimus Prime.
- For the third time, Barricade disappears without any explanation of what happened to him.
- Arcee and Chromia are left alive at the end of the issue.
- The fate of multiple robots that arent appearing in the film (or havent been confirmed to appear at least) like Tankor, Fearswoop and few others are unknown
