Outback was selected for a mission in Tibet to help in the fight against the forces of Cobra-La . He and the others were attacked by the Pretender Monsters' combined form Monstructor. The Laser Squad destroyed the creature, allowing Outback and the other survivors to continue and arrive at Cobra-La's base just in time to help round up Cobra-La's soldiers.
