- Alligatron is a Beastformer from the Headmasters portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Alligatron[1] (アリゲトロン Arigetoron) is the leader of the Decepticon-aligned Beastformers, anthropomorphic animal aliens from planet Beast. He is king of Lenonia.

The Headmasters cartoon
- Voice actor: Ikuya Sawaki (Japanese)

Galvatron and the Decepticons came to planet Beast to enslave the population, forcing them to work on a mysterious engineering project. Alligatrons and the Beastformers loyal to him became collaborators with the Decepticons, helping to enslave their own people. They were opposed by White Leo and his rebel forces.
During an attack by the rebels on the Decepticon stronghold on Beast, an Alligatron was among the defenders, and another Alligatron was the leader of the Decepticon Beastformers, ordering the others to kill all of the rebels and leave no prisoners. Later, when the Autobot Transformers arrived on Beast, a spying Snakebomb reported their presence to the leader Alligatron, who in turn relayed the information to Galvatron.
When Wheelie and Daniel tried to infiltrate the stronghold, an Alligatron was standing guard at the entrance.
Later, an Alligatron alerted the other Decepticons of the approaching Autobot Transformers. He fled the scene when Rodimus Prime shot the stronghold and sent rubble flying. The Alligatrons were not seen when the Autobots defeated the Decepticons. Rebellion on Planet Beast
The Headmasters comic
Alligatron led Predaking and the Sharkticons against the heroic Beasts on their home planet. His slaughter was interrupted by the Autobot Headmasters of Justice, but Predaking managed to capture Highbrow and Brainstorm for the Decepticons. Alligatron suggested they use the Autobots as bait for White Leo and the rest of the Headmasters. The arrival of Raiden and the Trainbots swayed the tides of battle, however, and Galvatron and the Decepticons abandoned Beast, leaving Alligatron to his fate. Great Decisive Battle of Planet Beast!
Dreamwave comics continuity
Alligatron was among the many Beastformers squabbling on their home planet when Megatron arrived to fetch the Predacons. Welcome to the Jungle
Toys
Headmasters/Beastformers
- Alligatron (Beastformer, 1987)
- Beast ID number: 15
- Accessories: "Alistretcher" blade
- Alligatron is an anthropomorphic albino alligator with dark olive robotic armor. He came with his "Alistretcher" blade-weapon. Like all Beastformers, his rubsign reveals a symbol of Fire, Water or Wood.
- Alligatron white version (Beastformer, 1987)
- A solid-white version of Alligatron was sold through gumball machines in Japan. The gumball versions of the Beastformers appeared to have randomized weapons (or just crummy QC).
- Burst Sun Special Set (Multi-pack, 1987)
- Accessories: "Alistretcher" blade
- The first Beastformers multipack (still using the Transformers logo and factions) contained nine normal figures, then one of two special editions of the faction leaders, either a clear-plastic version of Alligatron, or White Leo with the "Burst Sun" rubsign. The box contained no windows, so you didn't know which of the leaders you got until you opened it up.
- The other nine standard Beastformers in the set were Black Jaguar, Būpink, Crowmax, Dog Hunter, Dream-Eater, Earthhog, Mingo Kid, Musk-Horn, and Slo.
