The Decepticon Louisiana base is a building on Earth from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Decepticon Louisiana bayou base is one of the two Decepticon headquarters on Earth during the Decepticon Civil War caused by the clashing ambitions of Megatron and Shockwave. The Louisiana base originally belongs to Megatron, but gets taken from him by the united faction under Starscream and Soundwave's rule. Oddly, the base seems mobile, though it never is actually seen moving.

Megatron returned to take control over the Decepticon forces, but found at least half of them preferring to obey Shockwave instead. He took the portion still loyal to him to Louisiana, where they built a base for themselves. War aside, all was well for a time until Shockwave's troops stole a secret shipment of energon from Megatron, alerting him that there had to be a traitor among his troops. He ordered Soundwave to use his mind-reading abilities to find this traitor, but irony would have it Soundwave himself was the traitor. To save his own hide, he manipulated Wildrider into appearing the traitor and watched in relief as Megatron murdered him. Secrets

Starscream's scheming got Shockwave and Megatron to fight each other at Memphis Airport, and the Seeker used the distraction to arrange a meeting with Soundwave to discuss joint leadership over the united faction. Soundwave and the rest of Megatron's troops met Starscream outside their base and agreed to his proposition. Internal Affairs! With Shockwave and Megatron needing time to recover from their dethronement, Starscream and Soundwave arranged an attack on the Autobots' Earthbase to keep them from preventing an oil theft at the Gulf of Mexico. This strategy failed, and the Decepticons beat a hasty retreat to their base. Divide and Conquer!

Megatron and Shockwave had agreed to join forces to kill their usurpers. From Shockwave's base, they arranged for a number of worthless bounty hunters to attack Starscream while he was out alone for a stroll. The plan was for Starscream to know someone had put a price on his head and suspect Soundwave, which would result in the two weakening or killing each other for Bludgeon's crew to finish easily. This setup worked for Starscream, but Soundwave got wind of the price on Starscream's head and understood what was going on. By the time Starscream got to the base to murder him, Soundwave had created a recording of himself explaining carefully why the situation had to be a setup. Starscream injured Soundwave, but was convinced by the recording before he got to do any worse. However, as the two discussed what to do next, Bludgeon's crew tore a hole in the base's wall and attacked.

Outside, the Autobots arrived at the Decepticon base to look for Starscream, whom they needed to save Snarl's life. They prepared to save him and Soundwave from the three Pretenders, but were stopped by an assault from Megatron and Shockwave. External Forces! The Autobots eventually won, and Starscream agreed to help Snarl if the Autobots would agree to help him anytime he had to fear from Shockwave and Megatron again. The Autobots reluctantly accepted the condition. The Lesser Evil!
