Hot Spot Major is the Autobot bonded to Eta Supreme, an Omega Sentinel. He's very loyal to his ship, possibly out of friendship or mere pride as a captain.
Fiction
Transformers Animated
Upon Eta Supreme's destruction during the Battle for Iacon, Hot Spot Major refused to evacuate, determined to go down with his ship. The rest of Eta's crew were forced to drag him away before the Sentinel exploded. Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II
