- Narfl is an alien from the Classics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Narfl is a decent enough guy, but since those don't live long on a place such as Azure, he hides it behind a gruff demeanor, even gruffer friends and an axe that's not so much gruff as it is intimidating.

Narfl and his two buddies were hired by the sentient spaceship Amory to track down Nightbeat so she could hire the detective to find her missing partner. An easy job, if not for Nightbeat and Vorg getting in each other's hair badly. Nightbeat's crew showed up and beat Narfl's two friends unconscious. Narfl saved himself from that fate by reiterating they had only come to get them because a potential client wished to talk with them. Nightbeat, calmed down and a tiny bit embarrassed about the whole affair, agreed to follow Narfl. Narfl brought them to the hangar where Armory was staying and was paid for a job well done.
