Okay, which one's Hawk and which one's Animal?

Allicons are another breed of the Quintessons' enforcer-units, often used as guards for more important members of the race. They are slightly smarter than the Sharkticons, even capable of speech, but free will has been pretty thoroughly removed from their programming, to the point where they will malfunction if resisting a direct order.

They transform into bipedal, vaguely crocodilian creatures.

A group of Allicons intercepted Kup and Hot Rod when the two Autobots were lost on Quintessa. Kup used the universal greeting and offered them energon goodies, which made the Allicons friendly... until the goodies ran out. Oops. Some Allicons guarded Ultra Magnus, Kup and Spike to their trial after they were captured by the Quintessons during the Galactic Olympics. Five Faces of Darkness, Part 1

A single Allicon later served as the guard for a Quintesson scientist who kidnapped Ultra Magnus, Cyclonus, Marissa Faireborn and Wreck-Gar. When the captives escaped, it dueled Wreck-Gar with a spear until the Quintesson's ship started being dragged into a black hole and the whole group had to work together to escape. When the Quintesson tried to flee in the only escape pod and everyone else tried to stop him, the Allicon just blanked out as it couldn't disobey its orders. Eventually they all escaped from the black hole, and the Allicon and its master went off on their own. The Killing Jar

When Quintessa was threatened with destruction by the growing force of the time storm, the Quintessons activated the Trawler Project to find a new suitable homeworld to relocate to, by force if necessary. Allicon agents were sent out to many worlds to determine their suitability for colonization. But a freak cosmic storm diverted the message canister containing the results to the planet of Junk, where it was recovered by Wreck-Gar and the Junkions. Wreck-Gar was interrogated by the Quintessons, but provided no useful information. An Allicon led Wreck-Gar to his execution at the Sharkticon pits, but was overpowered by the Junkion and tossed into the pit himself. Wreck-Gar fought past a number of other Allicons before making his escape.

In the meantime, General Ghyrik led a fleet of Allicons and Quintessons to Earth for Plan B: the taking of Autobot City! Space Pirates, Part 1

Ghyrik and the Allicons breached the outer walls using Trident attack crafts, and a commando raid secured the city itself in a matter of minutes. Space Pirates, Part 2 An Allicon soon informed Ghyrik that Phase 2 was underway: the conquest of Cybertron. Other Allicons continued the pursuit of Wreck-Gar away from Quintessa, but he evaded them. Space Pirates, Part 3 Allicon shock troopers simultaneously ambushed the Decepticon forces on Cybertron and stole the Creation Matrix from Rodimus Prime when he arrived at Autobot City. Space Pirates, Part 4 They pursued the now reduced Hot Rod and Arcee while working to crush the Autobot reinforcements at the City. Hot Rod managed to turn the tide by releasing Blaster's Mini-Cassettes and reactivating Metroplex from deep within Autobot City's core. Meanwhile, the Decepticons on Cybertron received a helping hand from Ultra Magnus and the Autobots. Magnus saved Soundwave's life when an Allicon nearly shot him in the back, and the battle turned against the Quintesson forces on both planets. Space Pirates, Part 5 Metroplex swatted the Allicons like flies, and the united Cybertronians drove off the other Quintesson invaders from their homeworld. Space Pirates, Part 6

Allicon troopers were involved in the invasion of Cybertron by the Quintessons set shortly after the techno-organic wave reformatted the planet's surface. It had all been part of a plot by the Quintessons through the Oracle, their private interface to the supercomputer, Vector Sigma. Little did they know that Primus had manipulated their plans to his own ends, advancing the evolution of his people. The Allicon troopers got more than they bargained for as the mechanical, bio-mechanical, and techno-organic denizens of Cybertron devastated the Quintesson invaders and secured their homeland for future generations. Notes

• The script for the movie originally called for the Allicons' scene to feature Sharkticons, but we got these critters instead. They were indeed Sharkticons in the first comic adaptation. Neither in this scene, nor in any of their reappearances during the series were they referred to by name—the script for "The Killing Jar" identified them only as "Quintesson Guards". The creatures were given the name 'Allicon' years after the fact in Dreamwave's 2004 More Than Meets The Eye series.
