The Crab Nebula is a region of space in the Argos Cluster. It contains deadly ion storms and extreme pressures that can sheer a ship's hull in two.
Fiction
Tales of the Beast Wars
During the Horus Campaign, Antagony sent a small strike force through the Crab Nebula. The strike force braved many dangers and were required to steer almost blind. Unfortunately they still tripped a sensor net in an asteroid belt near the nebula, and Horus moved in with his fleet to attack the invaders. Of course, the attack through the nebula was just a diversion while Antagony sneaked on board the Horus's command ship and engaged him in single combat. Herald
