Data matrices are Nebulan reservoirs of data. They take the form of small green rectangular prisms.

Out of jealously, Hi-Test had Throttle sneak into Hi-Q's facility and stole data matrices. Using the data contained on them, Hi-Test and Throttle underwent the Powermaster process and bonded with Dreadwind and Darkwing. People Power!
