:: I'd say that "mechanimal" seems to be a lot more vague than "Cybertronic wildlife," though. I mean, what constitutes a mechanimal? Is it just nonsentient wildlife like the Driller, Scraplets, etc., or do Transformers with robotic alien alternate modes (eg. the Terrorcons, Monsterbots) enter into it to? Do reengineered animals fall into their own seperate category? [[User:Tom Servo the Great|Tom Servo the Great]] 14:18, 21 October 2011 (EDT)

Er... is this the actual canonical name for Cybertronian wildlife? Because I think that Cybertronic wildlife is what you're looking for. Tom Servo the Great 12:25, 21 October 2011 (EDT)

Yes, it is the official name. We finally have one! See the talk page for Talk:Minotoron --76.28.76.206 12:31, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
Ah, good. Just making sure. Tom Servo the Great 12:39, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
That paragraph seems slightly ambiguous to me. It is possible to read it as saying that mechanimals are not Cybertronian in origin. --Khajidha 12:58, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
I strongly disagree. The natural way to read it is that he combined "man and animal" or "Cybertronian and mechanimal" there's really nothing there to suggest this word means anything but what it is very clearly intended to mean "a robotic animal" and since it's set on Cybertron in an era where there's little contact outside Cybertron there's no reason to read anything but the obvious into it.--76.28.76.206 13:02, 21 October 2011 (EDT)
