I don't think the word "A" is officially part of the series name. The back cover of Decepticon Hijack has the following cross sell text:
The Transformers
Big Looker Storybooks
Look for these
best-selling titles too:
The Battle for Cybertron
The Great Car Rally
Insecticon Attack
Given this, the "A" on the front cover is probably best understood as an introductory word necessary for proper grammar but not a part of what follows. --Khajidha 14:55, 10 November 2011 (EST)
