John Butler was part of an expedition into the jungles of South America. They came across a Decepticon mining operation and were consequently held hostage by the evil Transformers. Butler made an escape and was pursued by Ravage. However, he managed to escape his grasp and was eventually rescued by the Red Cross. He was taken to a convent hospital to heal his injuries. Hunted!
