| Four years later, after rescuing [[Sam Witwicky]] and [[Mikaela Banes]] from [[Seymour Simmons|Agent Simmons]], the Autobots found themselves on the run from Sector Seven reinforcements. As Optimus Prime hid in the spans under a bridge, Mikaela and Sam both fell when Sector Seven helicopters passed below. They were saved from a messy death when Bumblebee transformed and caught them both in mid-air. However, this provided a target for the Sector Seven helicopters, which were armed with the M9-2 Harpoons. They lassoed and dragged Bumblebee to the ground with ease as the Autobot refused to fight back against his captors.
