This article is about a character or concept which lacks any official name or designation. |
- The "greater glory" terrorists are three humans from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Ruthless, unflinching and willing to take hostages, these terrorists are even prepared to die for the greater glory of...um, something.
Fiction
Earthforce
Ironhide was in Los Angeles, against Optimus Prime's orders, when he found himself trapped in the middle of a siege between the LAPD and the terrorists. Though interfering in human affairs was strictly forbidden, Ironhide couldn't allow the humans to endanger the hostages' lives, and so decided to intervene. He had frightened the terrorists into surrendering when the police burst in, prompting one of the terrorists to pull out a grenade. Ironhide froze him to the spot before he could detonate it and berated the police for getting in the way. ...Perchance to Dream
Notes
- The terrorist with the grenade got as far as "Now we all die, for the greater glory of-" before Ironhide turned him into a popsicle. Just what or whose greater glory they were fighting for is left for the reader to decide.
