Kirk Van Wormer is an animation director and storyboard artist based in New York. Prior to breaking into the animation industry, he was a comic artist. He began penciling on titles for Marvel, D.C. and other comics companies in 1993. His work can also be seen in the movies Mallrats and Chasing Amy. He got his break in animation storyboarding on Steven Speilburg's Invasion America and later worked on shows including The Batman, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Generator Rex and now Transformers: Prime. He owns his own company, Selfish Children Productions, through which he does storyboarding and advertising illustration.
