- Windsail is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Windsail is a member of the Artillery Team in the Elite Guard. As part of the flying upgrade program, Windsail has quickly taken to the skies. He has an ongoing friendly competition with his wingman, Clear Out, and always manages to come out on top. To make sure everyone knows of his successes, Windsail paints each kill over his nosecone in jet mode. [1]

After the disappearance of the Combaticons, the Artillery Team and the Recon Team were assigned to a search and rescue mission to locate any signs of the missing Elite Guardsmen.
