Doombots are robotic soldiers from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Doombots are the mechanical drones that form the bulk of Doctor Doom's robotic army. They greatly resemble their creator in appearance, which could conceivably allow them to be used as decoys to divert Doom's foes.

The Avengers were sent to Latveria to investigate a potential war brewing with the neighboring country of Symkaria. They arrived to find an army of broken down Doombots surrounding an unknown structure. Man and Machine, Part One Doctor Doom himself arrived and explained that the structure appeared without his knowledge and he tried and failed to remove it with the robot army.
