Chris Metzen (born 1973) is the co-writer of The Transformers: Autocracy. A video game designer at Blizzard Entertainment, he contributed scripts to the Warcraft and StarCraft series, and has begun branching into comic book writing.
Metzen is a serious fan of Transformers, citing The Transformers: The Movie and Simon Furman's body of work as his main inspiration, and has admitted to being a fan of the ongoing and All Hail Megatron alongside Maximum Dinobots and Last Stand of the Wreckers.
