| Brawn was one of the Autobots onboard the [[Ark]] who awoke in 1984, and was frequently involved in combat engagements during the early years of the war. Sadly, he was killed by [[Megatron (G1)|Megatron]] in 2005, during the hijacking of a shuttle bound for [[Autobot City]].

| A debate has arisen within the fandom as to whether or not Brawn survived his seeming death, taking into account that Brawn was only wounded in the shoulder, and had previously been depicted surviving more serious wounds. Additionally, Brawn appeared in the episode [[Carnage in C-Minor]], an episode which takes place after his death, fighting on the side of the Decepticons. However, due to the generally low quality of the animation in that episode, Brawn's appearance is usually dismissed as an animation error.
