:I'm quite sure that it's actually his normal blaster weapon. Nearly every other Prime character has at least one arm flip-out blaster, and earlier in the episode we saw Soundwave use blasters (in alt-mode) for the first time. He wasn't wielding the Resonance Blaster yet, it isn't till the very end of the fight that he mounts the Resonance Blaster to his arm. Unfortunately, the shot is brief, but that's the only thing that makes sense to me. | |||

Flipping out thingy
Is the thing that Soundwave flips out from his arm the resonance blaster, which he is then forced to drop before he can use it?
